ABOUT PETER DVORSKÝ

WORLD OPERA STAR
In 1973 Peter Dvorsky graduated from Bratislava State Conservatory. In following years 1976/1977 he studied in Milan in Teatro alla Scala. Right after this experience he debuted in Vienna State opera- Wien Staatsoper in 1977 and in the same year in Metropolitan opera in New York. In 1978 he performed in Covent Garden, London for the very first time an in the same year in the Bolshoi Teatre in Moscow. 1979 was a grand year for Peter since he debuted as Rodolfo in Puccini´s La Boheme in La Scala. He quickly became Slovakian most appreciated artist. He sand amongst the best opera soloists in the world in operas conducted by the most celebrated conductors. Peter was a host imore than 60 scenes in 25 countries. Artistic critics considered him one of the five best tenors in the world.
